We are a small group of yahoos who are
addicted to RC models. Our field is at Harris Hill, Elmira NY, which is the
official "Flying Sparks" air base (see "pictures"). However, we like
to travel around and fly anywhere we can.
Snow, light rain, 20F,
15mph wind, snow, even fog does not scare us away.
No rules, no politics, pure fun.

Our Mission - to have as much fun as possible. Come out
and play with us!
200-2007 Indoor
season with Valley RC
Our neighboring club, Valley RC,
has been kind enough and let us participate in their indoor fly
season during the cold winter months. Below are some pictures and a few words that
Valley RC Secretary Dan Luchaco shared with us:
16
Flyers paid to help cover the cost of renting and insuring the gym
at Athens Lynch Bustin Elementary School from October 2006 thru
April 2007. 13 sessions were scheduled on Tuesday evenings from 7:30
to 9:30 with 2 being cancelled by the school and the weather.

Seven to
twelve flyers or spectators showed at most sessions with a variety
of $29.95 to $500+ Planes and Heli’s being flown indoors and bounced
off the walls, girders, basketball backboards, floor and bleachers.

There
were many different varieties of planes flown with Great Planes
Foamies and the NE Sailplanes EPP Blade 3D design being the most
favorite by the end of the season. The Horizon Blade Heli’s were
also popular followed by a couple T-Rex brands.
Longer
and warmer days signal the end of Indoor Season until October 2007.
THANKS to all who supported and participated in the fun !
